First Lieutenant Andrei Doohovskoy received his MA from Harvard University, where he researched a variety of security topics related to Russian and Soviet counterinsurgency doctrine and practice. His dissertation integrated primary sources and subsequent analysis in an assessment of recent campaigns within the context of counterinsurgency theory. Andrei is currently serving as an Infantry officer in the US Army, and continues to research counterinsurgency and Russian security issues.
